But I'm not planning on refinishing the wood finish - it looks a bit worn and beat up, but that 150 years of constant use can do that. It hat that 'circulation cameo' appearance.
My Grand Father used to do his homework on the table (not imaged - maybe I should include that ) when he was a littl boy.

Here is the table: Kind of covered with my repaired chairs and tools for working on them (yes the radio is a VERY important tool too)
The table is the next step in a full restoration of this set..

Happy birthday Dearborn, I refinished a dresser for my wife. It lasted two weeks. She spilled nail polish remover on it.
