KenKat Pillar of the Community United States 4085 Posts	Posted 10/03/2024 10:33 am Our power was out for about 14 hours, there were a lot of branches to pick up in the yard and I have a couple of messy water intrusion issues in the basement that 5+ inches of wind driven rain uncovered that I will need to address. This is the worst I've seen around here since Hurricane Ike in 2008. That said, we had it much easier than many. All the reports here in Upstate SC say the damage is worse than what Charleston received from Hugo in 1989. That made landfall as a Category 4 and was, until now, the worst storm to ever hit this state.
