If so and a previous owner slabbed it, maybe D/D SS was their term for rpm.... D/D = (doubled die).... SS = mint mark... edit: oops just reread the title.... D?D usually means an RPM but there weren't any minted in Denver and I have no clue what SS is. If you can make anything from this..... Seeker_101 Pillar of the Community United States 1791 Posts	Posted 10/01/2024 12:51 am Well I'm going to keep an eye it...... Auction is a collection of wheat cents (all years), slabbed and graded. This is the only one not professionally graded. But some of the graders are highly questionable. Like there are 2 business strike coins graded at MS 68. One by PCI and the other by NNC. I would write it as "1909-S/S DDO", but it's easy to mix up the labels.
