It turned out to be way more than my initial guess of 200-300. Once all the bags were emptied and sorted, the hoard ended up at over 500 Eisenhower dollars. Somewhere between 25-30 pounds of metal! mycrob Pillar of the Community United States 2602 Posts	Posted 10/29/2024 10:41 am As mentioned, the Friendly Eagle Variety is often overlooked. It would be on the 1971-D, reverse. Look carefully at the eagle's face. Most have an extra line over the eye, making the eagle look angry. The FEV is missing this line, hence the name "friendly eagle". In a large lot like this, you should have at least 1 FEV, I would think. I have found 13, 4 from Ikes from searching customer dumps at the bank, and 9 from large lots of Ikes. I would say that the mix is 20:1 in favor of Philadelphia. We are in eastern Pennsylvania, so the coin mix here tends to overwhelmingly favor Philly. Report this Post to the Staff
