Quote: Thanks again spruett for organizing the contest. You're welcome! I thought it would be fun and there aren't too many contests posted so, what the hey? I'm in the same boat as you, cptbilly. I'm no fan of either team, but like I said before, there is always some way to root for one side so that one can be invested in the outcome in this particular case without affecting future allegiances. Post-Game 2 PredictionWinner: Dodgers Games: 4 Runs: 30 MVP: Freddie Freeman The only thing changing is the runs scored. I'm a bit surprised, but loonielewy survives yet again.

I realized yesterday that because LA took the first two games, there are players that have been statistically eliminated from Grand Prize contention. I thought it may add some suspense to keep track of the contenders still standing. This only applies to the Grand Prize and 2nd Prize eligibility. MVP Prize is still in play for all contestants with a valid guess. Grand Prize Still Standing:Player Team Games Runs

I would agree with that statement I never considered a sweep because of how good both of these teams are hats off to loonielewy. For going out on that limb. Good luck to all who are still left.

Yankees stinking up the joint. . .hopes for a good Series have withered like the leaves on the vines in my landscaping, yielding to the onset of an impending Winter chill. Thankfully, college basketball is less than a week away.

Good stock there. He's got to take MVP.

Game 4 has shaken things up a bit. Speculative Prediction: Winner: LAD Games: 6 Runs: 54 MVP: Freddie Freeman For this analysis, the advantage still lies heavily with LA, but Game 5 will be a rematch of Game 1 except that home field advantage has shifted to NY. Freeman's walk-off slam in Game 1 was an outlier, so I'm giving Game 5 to NY based on pitching matchups. I don't think NY's momentum will survive going back to LA, so it ends in 6.
