2001-P Unc. Quarters Color ? (Ny & Nc)

ASometimes New Member United States 47 Posts	Posted 11/08/2024 1:31 pm Hello, my favorite people!! :) I havethese two uncirculated quarters are this weird bronze/darker color. The NY quarter has the bronze/dark toning on both the reverse & obverse. except the obverse has a circle-like portion that is blue toned. The NC quarter has the more obvious bronze/dark toning on the reverse & the obverse is a mix between the bronze/dark & blue (which is really pretty actually)! I was wondering if anyone could let me know why they would be this color? This is probably not an error question, but I figured I'd ask just in case someone knew! 1st pic is the 2 bronze/dark toned quarters reverse (top) compared to another set of same quarters without the toning (bottom) Edited by ASometimes 11/08/2024 1:33 pm Report this Post to the Staff
