Yes, high grade CCs are worth sending in, my opinion.

Absolutely.... the reverse looks very nice, obverse appears to have minimal cheek/under chin scuffs but possibly MS64?

Definitely worth slabbing. I'll guess MS-64.

Not sure if this is an original Morgan dollar. What is the pimple under the arrows?
Would be good to get it authenticated by a TPG.

I wouldn't be concerned about authenticity—it looks like a genuine VAM-2. If that mark above the E in EPU is a scratch, it might not be worth the cost to have this coin in a details holder. If not a scratch, it looks very nice and it would be reasonable to get it graded.

Here's the spot on the reverse. It looks like a brown smudge - toning? Gunk? Under a loupe it looks flush with the surface of the coin.

@moniker I think that's the continued die crack.

No comments on the spot on the reverse yet ...

Not worried about the spot. It should end up in a MS63-MS64 holder.

I do not think the spot will result in a details grade.

Also no comment yet on that possible scratch at 10:00 on the obverse. That's a much bigger concern than that toning spot. Is it a scratch or something else?
