I'm throwing around the idea of keeping track of my CRH stats for 2025. Does anyone have any examples of what stat's they keep and how they keep them?

I kept very detailed stats on my nickel CRH activities and shared regular updates with the CCF members. I tracked coins searched, finds, actual find rates, expected find rates, circulation obsolescence and more. You can read an update below that I published after completing the entire Jefferson nickel circulation strike set from local bank rolls: http://goccf.com/t/198187

Nickel Searcher, I love the detail your post went into.
My first thought was a thread like Jason's. My second thought was a google sheet for the in depth data like NS has outlaid and just posting into the individual coin type threads.
Since it would be interesting to compare results for my stat driven brain, I am thinking it might be more fun to buy a new Jefferson album and start fresh to compare the find rate and length of time to complete to Nickel Searchers results. It also appears John77 has added some interesting stats to that thread but from the west coast. I am Midwest (Wisconsin) so would be fun to compare all 3.Out of Curiosity what album did it take you the 320,800 to fill?
In general I get bogs off of my banks coin counter so availability of the same denomination each week is hit or but I do love a good nickel hunt.

I keep stats on all my searches in a Microsoft Excel file. I update my results to the quarter and dime collecting threads every 100 boxes or so. However, I only track silver finds (by date/mint) and W quarters: not proofs, non-silver foreigns, 2009s, or NIFCs.
I also keep track of the sources of each roll (customer wrapped, machine wrapped by distributor, or bagged coin) so as to compare the finds by source.

Oh my. When I was doing this 40 years ago, we just tossed the good stuff into a bucket.

You can see my list as Jbuck posted above. It does take effort, but lets me see the totals in amount searched and finds. A simple spreadsheet would work as well.

I'm quite behind in compiling my stats - I still track everything I find, but with a very busy job (lots of 50+ hour weeks) and a planned move from the L.A. area to the Vegas-area late next year, my free time has been (and will continue to be) quite limited. As a result, it has been quite a while since I made a new summary of my finds. Like you, I'm very interested in comparing find rates from various regions of the country... as you may be aware, the West coast got a good portion of the 2009-D nickel distribution, while Puerto Rico and parts of Florida got a large portion of the 2009-P nickels - the rest of the country has a very difficult time finding either coin. The 2024 nickels are also quite hard to find for most of us (I've found 4 Denver coins and no Philly coins to date), so they're going to be another coin we will need to be saving/tracking as the mintages appear to be even lower than 2009s.

John77 - I hear you on the work hours seems like it never ends. I stole some inspiration from your spread and put together the below for nickels. I'm going to grab a new album as well to start over and compare the "time to fill" metric from Nickle searcher. Also will be putting together the same type of spread for Cents and going to grab some new album's there as well.

A couple of months ago, I was actually in a good position at work where I could set my own hours, but, as a sort of "victim" of my own success, I got a promotion two months ago, and now I'm working more and unable to set my schedule...

Those are impressive statistics nickelguy88. In general you track most of what I did as well.
A suggestion for Hodagcoins - you should consider adding an entry for 'Foreign Finds'.
If your experience tracks with mine you'll find plenty of them - in fact I was over 20 countries found at the end of my search.
