I have a collection of Cyprus banknotes which I wish to sell. Starting from KGVI, QEII and moving through to the late republic issues. In areas, it's quite comprehensive with control number sequencing, some errors and consecutive serial numbers.
That being said, I have been out of touch for many years, the last noticeable addition was over ten years ago and I have just lost interest. I am basically treading water until I can do some research in current market trends.
I would greatly appreciate it, if anybody can point me to an online catalogue listing of Cyprus banknotes or suggest a reputable dealer in the UK, preferably in the London area.
Also comments and opinions of the current market would be greatly appreciated

Just a start !
If you can wait til the London Coin Fair
Feb 25 , there are several dealers who would
be willing to assist you .
A high grade comprehensive collection of
GV GVI & EIIR would be fairly desirable!

@Pacificcoin offers great advice. If you can take decent photos or scans of the collection, you could take the photos to the show & ask around. One thing I advise anyone who has an extensive & deep collection (KGV, KGVI & QEII Cyprus sets are nothing to sneeze at) is to be patient & take their time. I wouldn't jump at the first offer I was given & going to a show would really give you a good feel for how much the notes are wanted (reasonable price). If the dealer looks super eager (or a bit "OCD" with inspecting one of your notes), you might wish to auction that note off (rather than go through a dealer).

One UK dealer I've had good experience with is Pam West. Any dealings I have had, she knows her stuff & is what I'd consider a "straight shooter." Her site (& contact info) can be found on this link below:

Good luck with getting the right connections & sorting it all out.

to the CCF & let us know how you made out...
