Picked up a decently sized lot of unidentified bronzes. I am going to do my best with them (already got two identified, I think) but otherwise I'm calling on the CCF detective squad.

This one is 17.0mm and 3.4g. Bronze.

Obverse appears to depict an Athena or Hera-style helmeted bust facing right.
A countermark has been stamped directly on top of the head (it looks almost like a peace sign or an airplane!)

The reverse has what appears to be two leaves and possibly a tree of some kind or a fruit? There is a letter "M" or "W" or a sideways Σ as well, and you can see traces of another letter to the left side of that.

Adding: Could this possibly be Pamphylia, Side - Athena helmeted/pomegranate with ΣΙ ?

I'd say you had a match there, @paralyse. Not easy to find with these rarities.

BTW, could that be a Seleucid anchor in the countermark?

Possibly! It's very difficult to discern.

I've identified 7 so far out of the 24-coin lot I purchased, so I will be asking for help on a few more (except two of them which are almost certainly not identifiable)
