Yes, they suffered the misfortunes of the pandemic and then got hit by flooding.

Stuff did not really start coming out again until later in 2022.

You can review (or relive) all the drama here: http://goccf.com/t/356028

Hello, fellow Numismatists!
I recently revamped my Jefferson nickel collection and added them to a Dansco #8113 album. My collection initially didn't consist of all the proofs and I was storing my proofs that I already had in an extra page in my Dansco #7113 album.

I recently completed all of the "proof only" issues however, so I decided to change it up a bit and add them and all coins to the proof album. This way, I can sort of convert the #7113 album back to just circulation strikes only for coins that I find through coin roll hunting.

I have all the proofs from 1956 until 2005. I have not delved into the coins beyond 2005 as I don't really like the design honestly. The proof coins are nice, though. I'd like to get some of the coins that were earlier strikes... But at the prices that they are... erm... eep!

Finally getting some use out of this album that my wife got for me last X-mas.

Got this last week. Not sure why. Decided to give a slabbed coin a try. Cost like 10 bucks with shipping.

Kind of annoys me how Dansco doesn't add ports for the 81 type ll proof

Here is the last page, which also includes an assortment of goodies. I also had some duplicate proofs, so to fill up space, I did some obverses. I really like how this turned out though, especially with the 2004/2005 proofs.

1962-1970 proofs, including the SMS, with a spot for the 1981 type 2 proof.

Thanks! I honestly wanted to hunt for a 1955 proof to put into the album as the start of my proofs, but the one I had looked horrible that I got from ebay so I returned it. I opted to just give up on that for now.

I may search for one down the line eventually. It seems to be that 1955 is where they start increasing in price. Almost all proofs I was able to obtain for like, under 5 dollars. The 1955 seems to be at least double that on ebay.

That is a sweet looking album! And I always enjoy seeing what people do with the extra blanks.

What's going on with your 85-D?

Thank you, friend! Yeah, it can be kind of a pain having blank ports, but also kind of nice.

What's going on with it? Nothing lol it's just heavily circulated and dirty. A good majority of the coins after the 70's I collected from circulation. That's one I definitely need to upgrade.
I'd love to upgrade all eventually to BU, but that would be pretty expensive for the older coins.

Some of the from-circulation nickels in my Whitman album are in a similar condition; I upgrade them as I come across nicer examples. But lately, not a lot of change passes through my hands so upgrades are very infrequent now.
