Thank you! I've been looking for a Dansco 8114 album out of curiosity, and still can't find any for a good price. Or really any at all! There are a few random ones on ebay. There's one listed right now for a little under 100 dollars. Yeah, I DON'T think so lol Ironically enough, you can still order the pages themselves from the 8114 album for not very much. It's still technically more cost effective however to just do a blank nickels album, and label them yourself. The average price for the blank nickel album seems to be around 40-45 dollars. Consisting of four pages, that's basically like 10-12 dollars a page, which isn't too bad in hindsight.

nice set up of your blank page nickels! Hopefully at some point Dansco will re-issue the 8114 albums again.

My bold prediction for 2026: Dansco is settling into their new home and will have things rolling out more reliably! So, you might want want to hang tight for now.

Well, either way, I am waiting, since Christmas is just around the corner. My wife yells at me when I buy things around Christmas time that she can purchase instead. Lol.

Quote: My wife yells at me when I buy things around Christmas time that she can purchase instead. Lol. Mine are so specific it's hard to give someone a list. I'd much rather they they get me an ebay gift card Although I did put a Dansco Indian Head album on my list this year. Albums are usually a safe item that is not a one of a kind gonna sell out type of thing,

Well, I made it extremely easy for her, seamonkey. I went on ebay, and added the items to her cart. She did the rest lol Nice. I'd love to try an IHC collection. I don't think it's really doable on a budget, though. Or I guess I should say.. Not on my budget lol I'm excited that I will eventually have a new Dansco blank nickel album to house all my 2006 to current nickels. Also will be getting the entire set of Satin finish nickels from 2005-2010. That'll be a great way to start the album!

Quote:Here are some images of my 7113 album currently. With the exception of the 39-D and the War Nickel, I have found all these coins in circulation, which is the way I am going with this album. Very nice and much as I'd expect. I'm surprised you're missing some of the easy ones like '80-P & D. Have you just not seen any nice enough?

Nope! Honestly, I've been very back and forth with this second set. I have been searching through nickel rolls to find some of the older ones, since they obviously aren't as common as the later ones from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, etc.
But yeah, I just haven't so far found any 1980 P&D that have caught my eye particularly.

More continued progress with my Jefferson series. Today, I ordered almost all of the proofs from 2007-2023. I have 16 proofs coming I believe. I did miss a few like the 2022, and I didn't order a few of the interesting varieties like the 2018 reverse proof. I do plan to get this, though. I'd like to try to get all the varieties that I can. The 2017 S enhanced uncirculated Jefferson nickel is also one I am eying up. I am also planning on trying to obtain the West Point minted nickels. I think there are two if I'm correct? They seem to command a slight premium, but nothing too crazy. I also decided I think I will add a 7th page to my 8113 album, for adding whatever I come across that tickles my fancy. I could obtain some of the proofs from the 50's and add them into there if I find some raw examples. I am pretty sure that there is a regular W proof, and also a reverse W proof. I don't know if there is any kind of non-proof uncirculated W nickel or not. Another advantage of using a blank nickel album in this scenario. I can organize and add the coins in whatever order I should desire!

Wow, 16 way to go!. The 2017 enhanced is not that much, maybe $4 or $5. I was thinking of getting a single one instead of breaking up my set myself. These are the special ones I know of... 1994-P Matte Uncirculated 1997-P Matte Uncirculated 2017-S Enhanced Uncirculated 2018-S Reverse Proof 2020-W Proof 2020-W Reverse Proof

great progress Humanist! I'm very impressed with what you have completed so far. Quote: The 2017 enhanced is not that much, maybe $4 or $5. I was thinking of getting a single one instead of breaking up my set myself I bought an extra set for about $20.00 and cracked it open so I could have each denomination for all my albums - it was a bit more less costly in the long run..
