I brought a few $2.50 indians to a local coin dealer to offer for sale. They said they were all xf. Sent to pcgs and grades came back between ms-61 and ms-63.

What did you think they were going to grade when you sent them in?

Looking forward to seeing the photos when you get your coins back.

Pretty much typical for brick and mortar dealers to low ball your coins. '

And it could be the dealer doesn't know how to grade. Incuse Indian designs are difficult to grade. But the difference between the Mint State and an XF should be readily identifiable to anyone. Congratulations on your results from PCGS!

I agree, congrats also. One of my favorite designs! I'm working on this series.

What did you grade them as?
