NGC - Coin of the Day: Here's a fascinating Mint Error Monday coin: a 1998 Lincoln Cent that was struck multiple times. You can find it in a June Heritage Auctions Coins sale dedicated to error coinage: https://coins.ha.com/itm/errors/199...0547-28006.s

I agree with ijn1944, I count at least 7 strikes. Why can't TPG's try and nail down a number strikes or approximate?

Double struck coins are multistruck but a triple struck coin is generally worth more than a double struck coin and is labeled as such usually.

A "Septuple Struck" or "Octuple Struck" label would carry the drama of this coin better wouldn't it? or "Struck at least 7 times" at least?

Reminds me of a paper jam, back when I was in printing.
