It's been about 6 months since my last addition to my large size type set (I've been very focused on my Arkansas notes of late...). This note is a $20 1902 Date Back from The Sherburne (NY) National Bank. This bank issued most series of National Bank Notes from the Original Series through the 1929 Type 2 notes. This is only the third $20 1902DB listed in the NBN census. This note was bought in a private sale and held for 30 years, and other than a wonky trim is a very nice-looking example I'm pleased to acquire.

As jbuck graciously updated the name of my topic (thanks, jbuck!), I thought I'd start occasionally sharing some other large size notes I already had in my type collection, instead of only my new additions. Three gold certificates, a 1907 and 1922 series $10 and a 1922 series $20 $1 and $2 1918 series Federal Reserve Bank Notes And lastly, a $5 1882 Brown Back National Bank Note (2nd charter)

That's a nice Battleship note you have. I've been looking at them. They are quite pricey.

Those Gold Certificates are stunning! You really snagged the sweet spot on those 35 EPQ grades! All of them are "show-stoppers" in my book: thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much, walk2dwater and Bud250r!
Yes, Bud250r, the Battleship notes are a bit high priced, though as you know the price varies quite a bit depending on district and signature combination, especially as you get into the uncirculated grades. This Chicago district note is among the more common ones.
