Thank you, scopru! I just got a new scanner today, and may post some pics of a few of my favorites in the near future.

As mentioned, I'm going to start adding pics of some of my older note purchases. First off are what I (and a lot of currency collectors) feel are the most beautiful notes ever issued by the U.S. - the so-called Educational series. $1, $2 and $5 Silver Certificates were issued, and while there were plans to issue a $10 note they never came to pass, and new designs were issued with the 1899 series. I acquired the $1 and $2 notes in 2022, the $5 note in 2023.

Thank you, hfjacinto! It's funny that less than 10 years ago I had never seriously thought about collecting currency. However, once I got started I found I enjoy this as much (or maybe even more) than I ever enjoyed coin collecting, and that's saying something.

Here are two of my favorite Legal Tender notes, the 1901 series $10 "Bison" and 1907 series $5 "Woodchopper". The 1869 series "rainbow Woodchopper" is very high on my want list, but it'll be in a significantly lower grade than this one .
