I'm quite confused about the myriad responses I got to my question as to whether or not production of one-cent coins has halted.
The OP seems to think so. I say no, the mint is still making pennies.

I am certain they have stopped for now, since every other entity that has been halted by executive order has done the same. They could restart when a judge compels it, but I am not sure who would actually take this to a court—the Fed and the banks probably have better things to do. The Mint has plenty of other coins to make, so it is not wasting any time or resources.

I'm curious too, after all it takes time for things to go into effect as well

To see exactly what the penny-minting situation currently is, I called the U. S. Mint. The woman on the phone said she had no idea and suggested I call the Federal Reserve.
I called the Federal Reserve. The woman there said she had no knowledge of the mints halting penny production. She added that if the mints had indeed halted penny production, she would have certainly known about it.
So it's as I figured: 2025 pennies are currently being minted. Yay! Go Abe!

The Mint can easily focus on all the other items they need to churn out until they get a clear legal status on the order.

We were talking about whether or not the Mint was actively making pennies, not whether or not she was receiving pennies. Her tone of voice reflected an attitude of "If they had halted penny production, part of my job would be to know about it."

I already buy boxes from my bank on a weekly basis, for coin roll hunting purposes. I will rue the day when my bank will stop giving them out, due to "shortages."

Has everyone in this topic forgot that 2026 is the Semiquincentennial and there is already legislation for a special penny?
If they stop making them it will be after 2026
