It was suggested that I put together a book based on Birmingham Mint items. I took that suggestion to heart. I have a rough draft completed. A couple of colleagues are proofing it and helping to find a few photos I am missing. Thank you for the encouragement. I will let you know when it is available.

Hi Spyro. I am very close. Every time I think I am ready I find more material to add. The Birmingham Mint was very prolific. I am giving myself until the end of this month to finalize any new entries. I know I will eventually find more things. I guess there will be an opportunity for a 2nd edition in the future.

What date do the 2 Euro coins produced for the Royal Dutch Mint bear?
Do they have a mintmark?

Pertinax, based on the information I have it would have been 2002 when the Euro coins were first introduced for circulation. You will not find a difference between what the Birmingham Mint produced and the Royal Dutch Mint produced.
