Let's see if between us we can post 100 different coins from 100 different countries for each year of the 20th century. When I say "country" I mean any country, territory, principality, state that has it's own coins. We can post only 1 coin from a particular "country" and only 1 coin from each year 1901-2000.  You must own the coin. You cannot post two coins in a row (i.e. someone else has to post before you can post again). If you post a duplicate country or year your punishment will be receiving smilies ranging from  to  to  and being asked to delete the offending post. No swapping until we become stuck and nobody is able to post a valid coin. To repeat, once a particular country/year has been played, no other coins issued by that country or dated that year can be played. It's not as easy as some of you might think. I'll start with this 1931 Vatican City 50 centisimi:  So nobody else can post a coin from Vatican City or a coin from 1931. 99 coins to go. This should be fun.  Edited by MachinMachinMan

This will be an interesting thread - but how do you intend to make it a contest? Are you going to randomly pick a year for a prize? Have you already selected a country that will be a winner? If it's not a contest then I suggest a more appropriate forum is the Main Coin Forum. Excellent coin nickelsearcher. Thanks for contributing Posts on this forum don't count towards your post count so it seems a lot of people don't want to post on this forum unless there is a prize but the name of it is "Contests, Quizzes, Games and Giveaways" (Actually it's misspelled Quizes in the forum title) |
