Sad news a couple of days ago form one of Poland's premium auction houses: Hello, unfortunately currently we are not able to ship to the US - the Polish Post, as well as Fedex ect. stopped taking packages to the US. We are able to deliver to any other address, except the US.
Any friends in Canada available to help?

I don't blame the various post offices and delivery companies for stopping the acceptance of packages. I've been reading that UPS, especially, is so backed up waiting on CBP that they are bulk destroying packages to make room in their (bonded) warehouses.

Apparently, if you buy 100+ years old coins, then there is no tariff.

Why would any " friends " in Canada want to help ? After a friendship of since at least the 1860 s that is now in tatters due to utter stupidity would we even wish you a nice day . Not political in any way shape or form, just the facts. On the subject of tariffs on 100 year old coins . Yes they are tariffed at the IEPPA RATE per the Country of origin. Example 1678 English Silver 1/2 CROWN ebay sale of 225.00 the charge is 10 %. The only NON tariff collectors coins are USA coins and those of Mexico or Canada that fall under CUSMA FREE TRADE Rules .

You still have friends down here and I think you should be willing (if able) to help someone who did not vote this.

No they are NOT FREE. WE do this for a living and your Imperial highness has IEPPA Tariffs in place for all except what is mentioned above . Not only that the new paperwork is quite unwieldy . Certainly glad we can still do a bit of US business for the time being. Have a strong suspicion that the CUSMA exemptions are next to get crushed. Coins under 7118 and 9705 are DUTY FREE not Special (IEPPA)Tariffs free. Spent over 2 hours with US customs Commercial section in person earlier this month .
