The variety looks like BB-169. I would have thought perhaps closer to G details, but always a nice type coin to have!

Coin looks VG details. Looks like there may have been something previously attached to the center of the reverse. Maybe a loop but the coin is too large to be made into a button. Maybe something that turned the coin into a brooch pin to be worn on a lapel.

Agree with the above... any 18th century US coin is always a treasure. They didn't make many of 'em! (And just think of the history here--when this was minted, the country had only had two presidents.)
