Here's a side x side glance at the Laser Privy with a 2025-W Proof received earlier this year: When I evaluate an ASE, I look for definition in the skirt pleats and the sandal straps. Below are close-ups of those details, using the coins shown above, with the Laser PM on the Left: I'm not sure the laser-engraved product is a notable upgrade. I'm sure there will be degrees of difference from one strike to another (as always). If you look at the reverse images above, the prominence of the neck feathers where they meet the breast is crisper on the older version. What are you seeing when you do your own comparisons ? Thanks all. Enjoy your new Eagles !

Received a Perfect 2025 Laser Engraved American Silver Eagle Proof... Very Well struck example, I am Thrilled.... Compared the 2025 Proof Army Privy, To This release, Then compared the Two mentioned to the First American Silver Eagle Proof Released The 1986 Proof. Many Subtle Fine details NOT present on the 1986, Comparatively, Thoughts Please... How do Others feel about the " clam shell " Between the Army Privy and This Laser engraved release, Love the Army Classic Felt Clam Shell myself. Any preference....

I am jealous, how does everyone take such beautiful coin photos. I suck probably because I do not have a good camera. Thumbs up pilotaggie.

I bought one of these a couple years ago. The one I have isn't made anymore. The only drawback with mine is I can't quite get a full silver dollar picture very well. If you really want to zoom in though it is great! https://www.amazon.com/Elikliv-Micr...6B4C4KN?th=1EDIT - Yes my wife did laugh at me and call me a nerd but I don't care.

Quote: Here is mine Do you think it looks any different than the earlier releases? I figured the 2025W would be a fair comparison coin. I think in some areas it looks a little crisper. Other areas seen the same. If any worse, it's not by much. In general I'd say an improvement. It would be cool to see what the Army would look like if done with laser engraving. I guess we'll get an idea when the Navy Privy comes out.

Quote: How do Others feel about the " clam shell " Looks nicer but produces even more little fibers than the flocked inside. I think if they could hold the coin inside the box with some non fluffy material, they could have the fancy fuzzy outer box. In general I almost prefer the vinyl "leatherette" box, but why couldn't they apply the eagle insignia to that like they do the blue box?
