Full Disclosure: The coin was struck in December 1899 and some consider the coin to be technically dateless. They suggest the "Paris 1900" on its reverse refers to the Paris Exposition of that year - the statue featured on the reverse was gifted to France during the Exposition - rather than the coin's date. That said, most collectors and references refer to it as the "1900 Lafayette Memorial Silver Dollar." Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.
