VC to the rescue again on this tired and worn out IHC.

With patinated coppers, I'm always cautious with sodium sesquicarbonate when the patina looks unhealthy. VC was able to complete the project.

FYI - altered video format slightly. When the Polarity Ladder has minimal affect, I just provide a single before/after section for all 3 solvents.

In addition to all the Seated coinage found this summer, the Metal Detecting crew has pulled over 50 Chinese Cash coins. Here is one of the more recent restorations.

1866 Hong Kong One Mil Victoria

Here is another Chinese Coin restoration, a remarkable transformation and appealing coin.

Funny back story to this - I probably tossed a half dozen of these 'washers' into my garbage pouch over the summer and they are lost forever. My buddy found this 'washer' in the same area but actually decided to spray it off before tossing as we were wondering why so many 'washers' were present.

Long story short for detectorists, if they are a little smaller than a dime and have a round hole, do not automatically think it is a washer.

Starting to get to all the Seated coinage found this past summer (yes, summer is officially over). This 1882 dime has very little circulation wear.

While not a coin it is the closest thing to one. Black sand embedded in terminal corrosion - successful removal. Totally expected the discoloration but the character is much more pronounced now. Late 1700's Tombac Fire Button.

Recently finished up another 1882 Seated Liberty dime from an 1882-1883 railroad line camp here in Montana.

Unbroken luster with few, if any, marks.
