I'm something of a unicorn. My collecting interest is the American Gold Liberty series. I have all of them, so I'm kind of invested. As this is an odd numbered year it's due for another one in August. The way price of gold is going that coin might be $5,000 by the time the release date arrives (gulp). Even at current price I figure I'm looking at $4,000. I'll probably suck it up and bite.
Additionally, I've seen renderings of the obverse, but only proposed drawings of the reverse. Has there been anything definite released?

Thanks, I've seen that article. Problem is that the designs are referred to as "proposed" and "recommended". Doesn't really matter though as I've said, I have all the other issues, so there could be a depiction of a landfill and I'd be buying that too.

. I have the first of these but priced out a long time ago. A shame -- the proposed obverse will be gorgeous in gold.

The price of gold really stings.

I will stick with the silver variant. I have all of them as well, so I am also kind of invested in keeping up.

I don't know if that statement makes me want to laugh or cry.
