This is my 1st post, and I am fairly new to coin collecting. I was hoping you guys could help me with a question. Attached are pictures of a penny I found and it has some doubling on it. I think this is Strike Doubling from everything I have read, but it is tough for me to be sure. Please give me your opinions about this. Thank you!

You're correct. What you're seeing is Machine Doubling.

I don't know wexler's has one looks very similar
you need full pictures of the coin up close so we can look for consistency in the markers.

If you look closely at your coin the devices are flat like a shelf or step and making the letters look smaller like the "T" in Cent like its cutting it down in its size Machine Doubling but if you look at Wexler's DDR the doubling makes the letters look larger or bigger! Hope that helps!

Just a post of a 1970 S cent that I thought maybe was a DDO, but under the scope one can see it's Machine Doubling:

could someone explain the difference between machine and hub doubling, with pictures please?
