to the forum Your heading is referring to a cent, not a nickel. Always post a complete photo of both sides along with any closeup when making inquiries. Guessing by the partial photo you supplied, I would say you have damaged nickel. Edited by JimmyD

To CCF! Full obverse and reverse pictures would help. Your nickel appears to be showing scrapes from PMD. Errers and Varietys.

Just a horribly damaged nickel. What you're seeing is all PMD. Worth face value. Errers and Varietys.

There is no possible way for that to happen during the striking of the coin so by default it is PMD no matter how it happened |
