Me too! To be honest, though, I'm anticipating it to be a bit of a bust for me. I'm specifically looking for a couple of higher-end items that I could purchase right now on ebay or APMEX, but I have no idea if anybody will have them for sale at the show. If I can't find them at the show, though, I'll go ahead and purchase them online instead. It's just that I prefer to buy them in person, and I'll take any excuse to wander around for a few hours looking at coins and notes...

I can certainly relate! I could have already bought one or all of the last three online, but I really want to find the right fit at the coin show. And my last two coin shows were more about looking than buying.

Not going to coin shows any longer. And certainly not paying $10 + gas.

How was your coin show visit, barryg? Anything interesting you bought?

Hey, Ed! I posted two separate threads to talk about what I picked up. One's in the classic coins forum and the other is in the paper money forum.

In short, I traded in a bunch of junk silver for two really nice coins and then used my regularly budgeted funds to buy a bunch of notes. So a great show overall!
