I stupidly broke a capsule that came out of an OGP British proof silver pound (1985 Scottish Thistle). There are no British coin dealers so far that I've run across in a show near me that would have this

maybe this will help....

1984 Scotland Thistle One Pound Silver Proof Coin
This silver proof coin has a diameter of 22.50 milimetres and a weight of 9.50 grams.

Yes, there are some North American (NA) coins with a diameter of 22.5mm. Specifically, the US $5 Gold Half Eagle (1834-1838) with the Liberty Head design (no turban) is a coin of this size. Additionally, some older US coins, like Half Cents (1794-1857) and Two Cents, can also be found in coin capsules with a diameter of 22.5mm according to coin size guides.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
US $5 Gold Half Eagle (1834-1838): This specific type of gold coin has a diameter of 22.5mm.
US Half Cents (1794-1857) and Two Cents: While not the same as the gold coin, these can fit into coin capsules designed for 22.5mm coins according to coin size guides.

Try a bullion dealer or a coin shop that also deals with bullion. They keep taking commemorative out of capsules and sending them to melt.

I'm looking for a replacement that The Royal Mint uses so it fits properly back in its case.

The next larger sized show near me I'll have to walk around to see if there are any foreign dealers that might have this.
