Belgium's 20 Centimes (1953 - 1963) and 50 Centimes (1952 - 2001) featured a miner and his lamp on the obverse.

The Nevada Bicentennial medal I posted above features a reproduction of the 1876 Nevada Centennial medal that was struck by the US Mint and made available at the US Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The obverse of the 1876 Centennial silver medal was used as the reverse of 1976 Bicentennial medal.

The reverse of the Centennial medal features a mining scene with multiple "tools of the trade" on display.

This one might the most subtle of all the coins/medals I post in this threaad - If you look closely under the bear's snout, you can just see a miner swinging a pickaxe - symbolic of California's gold rush.

Here's an illustration of an early California State Seal that might help you locate the miner (the "San Diego" obverse is adapted from the Seal:

I previously posted the 2005 Alberta Silver $5 coin that features a large oil derrick as part of its commemorative reverse design. Canada also issued a circulating 25-cent coin of very similar design for the Alberta Centennial (of joining the Canadian Confederation). Here it is:
