Belgium's 20 Centimes (1953 - 1963) and 50 Centimes (1952 - 2001) featured a miner and his lamp on the obverse.

The Nevada Bicentennial medal I posted above features a reproduction of the 1876 Nevada Centennial medal that was struck by the US Mint and made available at the US Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The obverse of the 1876 Centennial silver medal was used as the reverse of 1976 Bicentennial medal. The reverse of the Centennial medal features a mining scene with multiple "tools of the trade" on display.

I previously posted the 2005 Alberta Silver $5 coin that features a large oil derrick as part of its commemorative reverse design. Canada also issued a circulating 25-cent coin of very similar design for the Alberta Centennial (of joining the Canadian Confederation). Here it is:
