Were there Cheerios dollar in original wrapping that did not have the detailed/accented tail feathers?

I've never heard or saw one that wasn't the "Enhanced" version. But here is some interesting information.......

I read somewhere that some of the dollars put in Cheerios boxes were just the run of the mill Sacagawea dollars.

Yes there were.

Is there a way to know without taking it out of it's original packaging?

So you look for that obv. die marker in this original packaging and you will know you have a real Cheerios dollar.

Knew about the enhanced tail feathers but the obverse polish marks are new to me. Thanks for the info.
