Hi, can you please help me identify this commemorative coin? I was only able to decipher the year 1962.

@ine, first welcome to CCF. Second, that is an interesting piece that you have there. The crossed rifle and sword are giving me Oman vibes, but I'll look around to see what pops up. In the meanwhile, it would be super-helpful to know the diameter and weight. Thx for adding that to this thread.

Using AH 1382 as a search criterion on Numista only brings up a few Syrian coins, so maybe this is a token rather than a coin? (or I don't know how to search there which would be quite embarassing).

First impression is the guy with the square jaw looks like Libya's infamous Moammar Gadafi, though I don't think the date works for him (too young).

Hi, thank you for your ideas. I think it's a medal, it wasn't used to pay. The diametre is about 4,8 cm and it weighs about 46,2 grams. It came to me in a nice etui.

OK, problem solved, I got it translated and it says: Republic of Iraq, 1962 m - Souvenir of Baghdad's Millennium Festival - 1382 h. So it is commemorative piece of that event.
