-makecents- Pillar of the Community United States 8812 Posts	Posted 08/08/2025 5:20 pm You can see the striations all the way across the coin that are running parallel to each other, there just happens to be a stronger one in the center. Pretty sure this is just from a crappy planchet, I see them all the time across many years of shield cents. Will Brooks did a study on this, but I cannot find it and the Lincoln Cent Forum will not load right now, I think that's where it's at.
