I caught the fever from a few guys on here who recently started collecting Susan B. Anthony dollars, one is going for PCGS slabs, the other is filling an SBA binder. For a while now, I've had a few SBA dollars in my collection, graded by NGC. While I like the look of coins in binders, I prefer having them graded and sealed in slabs. I usually photograph my coins for record-keeping and then store them away. If I want to check one or two, I pull up the images in my coin photo files. So, here's what I did: I created a simulated coin slab holder for my Susan B. Anthony collection. This will keep my coin photos more organized and clearly show which ones I still need to complete the set. For my Categorizing and Fun Approach in collecting SBA. I may consider expanding to other sets. Sneak Preview - The picture below illustrates the format I'll be using:

Why did this system not take this picture at 800 pixels? It only took it at 300. I've been uploading 800 pixels many times before!

CoinForMe, your idea of a virtual binder is really cool!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

It is the size of the file, not the size of the image. Make sure you reduce the file size by reducing image quality, which most image programs can do without resizing the image itself.

Thank you very much Hondo, just an experiment to find out if I can manage the inventory of my collection a little better, as to what I actually have... Thank you jbuck, for the help, I didn't think of that, will retry later today...

I think I went a little too big with the picture this time. Also, it's not as sharp as it should be.

Thanks jbuck, looks like I will be using this size.. I wish it were higher in resolution to display the coins a little better. Oh well, it is what it is. Again, thank you for the help!

I find myself wondering if you could make a physical binder where the slabs on each page would lock correctly with the slabs on adjacent pages.
Nice presentation. =)

I don't recall ever seeing a book designed so that one unit fits into the other when closed and stored. Maybe someone else has and can chime in?
