I'm curious who all uses the Dansco Slipcases. Is it preferred considering it adds to the cost. Does it depend on your collection if you use them? What say you?

I don't use them. Like you said - extra cost plus having them laying around when you're using the album.

I was using Dansco albums for over twenty yeas before I discovered they started making slipcases. I have been using them another twenty years without. I believe it was money well saved, but YMMV.

I prefer Littleton albums with windows they stay together better if there are a large number of coins the album gets heavy and if dropped the binder breaks away from pages had this happen to both Whitman and Dansco albums now look for used Littleton albums on ebay usually get four for 15-25.00. if it adds to value depends on the buyer.

I love slipcases. I have them custom made if necessary to house coin albums that don't have one.

I use them on all my albums - it helps to keep the dust off of the pages. and they do provide a tiny bit more protection.

I like slipcases & have them on almost all of my dansco's. Definitely will be making an order for a handful more so all of my albums have them.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

I like the slip cases. I try to add several each year to by dansco collection. They also help the albums sit better on a shelf.

I also use slipcases for all my Dansco albums. I like the added protection for both the albums and the coins. I also like that they stack easily with slipcases on. Definitely another expense, but I'm a firm believer that you don't skimp on proper storage for your collection. I recommend using Wizard and waiting to place a large order to maximize savings on shipping.
