Things appear to be stalling out just a tad eh? Silver changed a whopping +.79 cents and Gold about +12 bucks from yesterday. I wonder what that's all about?

(Me right this minute, ranting, in my farmers hat, chewing tobacco, wearing a tobacco and sweat stained shirt, missing a few teeth, smelling like booze, pint of whiskey in back pocket). Nope, threw all that hokus pokus junk out today. Yup it's just a bunch of fancy schmancy, computer AI, or whatever they call it software. All them flashing lights and buttons and graphs and stuff. Looking at how much they buyin and sellin on the market in real time, yeah right, You know what I call it?, a gimmick for suckers, thats all.. Don't know what them boys down at them tall fancy office buildings like JP Morgan and the Barclays Bank trading desk have all them floors filled with thousands of traders using that crap for anyway really They must think they're fancy. Talking bout all then Fibonacci retracements, MACD's, moving averages, accumulation distribution, relative strength index, over sold over bought conditions, just nonsense. They said it was based on some kind of math, or algorithms and the laws of averages, and some other big fancy french words I can't remember or something. Said a bunch of fellas on YouTube trying to teach people how to make some money with it, what a scam... Me, I just say it's phooey, it's just a bunch a hog wash I tell ya. Ya see, don't tell nobody but I'm trying to locate me this famous "Raven the Chimpanzee", ever heard of her? Some sorta stock picking guru wizard they tell me. I think she was 6 yrs old in 1999 when she threw some darts at a Apple computer or something, and she became a gazillionaire, yup it's all on this awesome meme I saw on the interwebs. She gotta be about 32 yrs old now.. Anyone know how long chimpanzees live for? I need to find her and get some answers about what happened today ASAP.. This is just way too much fun

Quote: Don't know what them boys down at them tall fancy office buildings like JP Morgan I had to switch from JP Morgan - I was constantly paying their hidden fees from my profits. When I switched to Baird Wealth Management Services around 3 years ago it was like a breath of fresh air. That is why I can joke around and not have anything to worry about. The price of gold and silver is fun to watch go up and down but it's just my hobby not my livelihood.

Morgan fan or of Chase Bank in general for that matter.. I closed my account with them back around 20 years ago, ran away and never looked back. They were killing me softly with hidden fees and blatantly out in the open fees as well. Whenever I hear the term "the Banksters" JP Morgan & Company is the first thing that comes to mind. The price of gold and silver is fun to watch for me too, but what's even more fun to me is watching, analyzing and speculating on all what makes it go up and down. I was that little kid that took things apart just to see what made them work. Silver and gold are just my hobby as well, whether directly or indirectly through my coin collecting and stacking hobby. Doesn't matter to me if it's $50 or $150 an ounce. But if I can make a buck trading the paper, I sure will give it a try.

Quote: China is closed and no big smack downs? Very odd... I think this is kind of what is weighing on everyone's mind right now. And the market sometimes tends to do the opposite of what everyone expects to happen. Because we're all sitting around waiting for the dip. And there's currently a lot of money riding on the dip coming soon, in the form of options / Puts.. They don't want to make it too easy. IMHO, to me Silver is looking weak at the moment. The silver market looks and feels artificially propped up right now. Just waiting for something to move it either way.

If you think conflict might break out in the middle east this weekend then silver could be a buying opportunity right now. The biggest "tell" is in the chart for crude oil, it's spiking right now, coincidentally. Do they already know something, or positioning? Oil prices will increase if sustained conflict happens. Silver should also spike. Is that why Silver looks like it's being propped up temporarily?
Me, I'm in the camp that thinks (hopes) war could be averted. The near term catalyst for silver going higher just disappears. The U.S. Dollar continues to climb, as it's currently doing. And silver dumps, or at least temporarily re-tests the lows, before China re-opens for business.

Silver got smacked and appeared stunned, dazed and confused on which way to go for about a half hour.
Wait, see, what happens if, when, that volatility decides to kick in.
Plus there's still that Iran news to look forward to.
