I filled up Saturday as soon as bombs dropped. Unfortunately I drive about 350 miles a week for my commute so...

Well, hopefully the roller coaster has bottomed out and will now start rising again.

Selling subsided temporarily, market found equilibrium. But it's a wait and see game now, since there's supposedly a press conference starting at 11am. Hopefully nothing is said to stoke more fears and trigger a second wave.

Still a lot of silver rumors out on the internet. Going to be a wild ride in the short term.
I am not surprised at the spike in oil, but I think it will be temporary. Yes 20% of the world's oil goes through the Strait of Hormuz, just not our 20%. China is the biggest loser by far. Western hemisphere has US, Canadian, Venezuelan oil production.

I don't know whether that 11 press conference occurred or what was said if it did occur, but it looks like things are sliding again...

Dip buyer's are being and will be disappointed if they're not patient and careful.
Big players and government insiders that knew this was going to happen on Saturday, obviously front loaded oil and metals last week, and are dumping it now.
Textbook: "buy the rumor, sell the news".. just gonna have to be patient and wait for the dust to settle now..

Quote: Where is the bottom? $87-$86 was/is the only good support area below $92.. The scoundrels that bought it up on Friday couldn't even wait for the opening bell to ring before selling it below the $92 support level.. Just makes it a little tougher to claw back up now.. The Retail crowd always gets the short end of the stick.

Yeah I think it's over finally but I'm not completely sure, he could still be talking for all we know . Nothing too crazy was said, I think, thank goodness: typical stuff like "we did a great job", "Iran is bad", then it rambled into how he personally picked out the golden curtains covering up the entrance to the big hole in the ground, and the great big beautiful ballroom, yada, yada, yada,.... The News cuts to a break.. And I went back to looking at charts... But I digress.. So now the market is expecting there won't be a long drawn out conflict. Wait and see if ships start moving through the straight again.. Maybe the recovery will start now.
