Quote: Hold the line, Silver! Quote: Starting to dip a little more. I got caught up with work and completely missed the close. But yeah, Silver didn't hold the line. Not feeling warm and fuzzy inside about the overnight.

Welcome to what's been often referred to as smackdown Friday ladies and gentlemen. Did the smackdown start early for Silver and Gold? Is the smackdown over? or will it continue later today in the RTH? As we saw yesterday at the close of RTH, Silver failed to hold the line and got knocked back down, and off of it's prior trend line angle of trajectory. Overnight It dipped back near to it's prior support levels. Hitting $81.51 before bouncing. Gold experienced a similar fate getting pushed back down to the prior trend lows of around $5060 before bouncing. Oil took a victory lap last night hitting over $97.50 a barrel before dipping to $93 currently. The U.S. Dollar index saw continued strength overnight hitting a brand new 2026 high of 100.29 Something to note is the dollar has been going parabolic for the last 3 days. Bad for metals. Will Silver and Gold bounce today or will Oil and the Dollar continue to weaken them further? What I'll be watching today: Sometimes the overnight session repeats itself in the RTH session, and the overnight highs and lows get retested. Look for Silver to hold above $81 lest the crucial $79-$77 level gets tested again.

Well looks like the $81 retest didn't pass the test Down we go again to retest Sunday nights low, which I think is currently already being breached as I write. And Last weeks low was $78.06 see if that holds.

Right now Oil at $98.80 and pointing up. U.S. Dollar index made another 2026 high of 100.38 With 2 hours left in the RTH session I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy inside yet about anything..
