Quote: Will we see $60 by Friday? Friday seems plausible. It seems content to live in the $58 area today.

I dont know if $58 is the new "floor" but its acting like it is. A couple weeks ago I called $55 the new floor and I ended up being right, despite not know what the hell I'm doing in.
I just look at commodities, which silver is, the same as I would as , say, oil. In other words I may know squat about metals but I do know about supply and demand and when demand is outstripping production for the 5'th year in the row it can only mean higher spot prices. And regardless of what Govt.'s and everyone else does. And it just so happens Govt.'s, Banks, consumers, Industry, all get their butts on fire and want to buy, buy, buy.
Maybe a simple explanation but I think this is whats at the heart of it and the reason we'll never see cheap silver again. I expect a steady rise in prices because silver is crucial in modern Industry and technology, both of which are growing at en exponential rate and barring an economic melt down silvers future is assured and it will happen faster and faster and faster. Bigger and bigger and bigger because thats what exponential means.
Its the techno-snowball rolling downhill, going faster and faster and getting larger and larger. Nothing can change this dynamic.
So I'm not surprised seeing $60 and a floor $58. Not surprised at all and yes its painful for us working stiffs and retirees but its also safe, a lot safer then keeping fiat butt wipe in bank and checking accounts. I even question the wisdom of stocks and ETF's.
I told my buddy to load in big time when it was $48 but he didn't believe me and got cold feet. He hung on to his stocks that were basically worthless with the devalued dollar. He didn't even buy into the mining outfits I recommended. Oh well you know what they say. You can lead a horse to water.......

Quote: Watch for lots of market hits in the evening hours now. yep. I could be looking at it incorrectly, but 8pm looks like a hit to me. maybe when the next hot stock starts ripping higher someone will switch off the market to, you know, help cool it down.

You need to change the title of the thread-from hit $50 to hit $60.
