I didn't start stacking silver until after it went up near $50 back in 2011 and then fell back down to below $20. At that point I started buying things like a monster box of silver eagles and Canadian maples, a bunch of 100 ounce bars, etc. So the good news is that my investments have more than tripled. The bad news, though, is that now I'm worried about the entire economy crashing. I bought all that silver so I'd have some extra money in retirement if I needed it, not so I could afford to by bread and eggs each week.
