Platinum is up almost 8% or $178.90 dollars at $2,426.70 overnight. Rising much faster than silver. It looks like a year-end squeeze is coming for the secondary metals.

wow... it wasn't that long ago that both platinum and palladium were bouncing around the $900-$1,100-range, for a long time it seemed.

Well, that was exciting (while it lasted)! Back down a bit this morning, but that was quite a jump overnight. Will it hover around $75 for awhile, get slapped back down into the low 70s or continue like a rocket to hit $80 by the end of the year?

$77 and counting.... well, pulled back slightly, but there it is on the $77 doorstep...  edit: ...wow... I turned my back for an hour and it blew right through $77...
