Silver Ike melt value: $31.97
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

You might have to fix it again.
It doesn't appear to be over yet.
Silver is still going up as I write this, it hasn't stopped since early this morning.
I do expect a whole lot of profit taking before market closes as is typical on a Friday, going into the weekend.
Let's see where we settle out. Oh and I think gold also hit an ATH.

I am starting to wonder if I am dreaming this. Should we consider $200, $500, $1,000 /oz silver in the near future?

Does anyone think that at these prices, it makes sense to reopen the legacy gold and silver mines in Colorado and Nevada? Maybe we can even have a Carson City mint again.

Earlier, a CNBC contributor suggested silver (currently $102.60 per oz.), still has another $100 before it the price tops.

Maybe we can even have a Carson City mint again I thought many of them were played out, but perhaps the ones that closed for being too expensive (because the ore got difficult to reach or refine) can see new life.
