I wonder what price silver needs to get to, before it becomes worthwhile to recycle from electronic equipment and batteries.
The high in AUD hit $150.10, I'm loving the ride.

This is crazy - I was going to sell a bunch of silver when it hit $100 but it doesn't seem to be slowing down - guess I'll sit back and wait some more...........

@ triggersmob, it is quite worthwhile to recycle electronic equipment like computers and other electronic devices, and has been for years at this point. You just need to find good volume, process/sort it properly and find the right place to sell it. Thousands can be made from it without excessive effort if done correctly.

I watched the action today every chance I could get. And at no point did selling enter mind. At no point did it look like it was at the peak. For all I know there may have been a flurry of selling happening, but the action proved that the buying outpaced the selling.
Silver has, at least for the moment, broken free from the boot on it's neck that's been holding it down for years. Those of you that have followed silver since the 80's and 90's know exactly what I mean.
I regrettably sold a small amount of my gold and silver when it hit around $2000 and $26 an ounce respectively. Why? Because I was conditioned for year's to seeing it get smacked right back down to the floor, every single time it went up. Thought I would buy it back at a lower price, like all the other times, but I was wrong.
Silver (and gold) isn't in a bubble, it isn't in a bull run, it's in a price correction. Price is being corrected to where it should righfully be right now if everything had been adjusted properly and it had been allowed to keep up.

examining the charts, they look like they just wanted to keep on going up. maybe they will, but I would think that a sell-off/profit-taking may be coming next week.

I agree, it looks like it wasn't going to stop, my chart looks the same. It kept climbing all the way through the close of trading. On a Friday. No selloff / profit taking going into weekend. That's a sign of confidence. I could only speculate on what's going to happen next week: but a strong close like we had today could lead to a gap up when we open on Monday morning and that would be an oportune moment for some profit taking. Maybe let it come down and chop around for a few days to retest the $100 support.

Something I saw in my news feed that gave me a little chuckle, and kind of made me feel warm and fuzzy inside  A direct quote from David Bateman on X.. In case you don't know, he's the guy that allegedly bought a billion dollars worth of silver before the run up. Quote: Congrats everyone on $100 silver. I'm not sure if Mr. Bateman is the same billionaire that recently gifted each one of his kids, or grandkids, a 100 ounce bar of silver  But all I can see in my mind is some kid looking at it like okay what exactly am I supposed to do with this?

Considering the tremendous run silver has been on, it's inevitable there will be a pullback (Correction) and a retest of major support levels. A -25% (or more) shakeout wouldn't surprise me one bit.
