crazy volatility. I guess this is the new normal. it doesn't bother me at all. I bought all of my silver with the intention of holding onto as much of it for as long as possible. the crazy volatility will end up being just a blip of a memory. silver has a long way to go on it's way to blue sky, if nothing changes fundamentally...

Ditto. Plus, I bought the vast majority of it long before it started this most recent rise, so it's not like I'm actually going to lose anything if it drops back down to $50. Or $40. Or even $30, I suppose.

Still, it was nice seeing it go up so high...

Keep in mind that the Shanghai Silver Market is in a limited transaction emergency mode, so it is not operating fully. Give it a couple days, then we will see where we are.

You still have to go by what the prices are now - I don't know about anybody else but I'm not going to buy or sell on "what ifs" or "maybes".

Bounced off $71 overnight then shot up to $80 probing the limit's. Fascinating to watch the price decide in which direction to go I'm waiting for it do a head fake at some point and take off in the direction we least expected.

It just sold off a little when it hit $84. I think we have an idea where the buyers and where the sellers ($71) are sitting at now.

The snowstorm held my interest more than silver this weekend. Now that it is melting, time to watch this roller coaster.

I think it's cute how the price appears to have parked itself dead smack in between $71 and $84

Don't fall for it though. That thing is bound to rip one way or another eventually.

It looks like COMEX silver inventories are rapidly headed back down to where they were mid 2025, at around 300 million ounces. The shorts are busy covering their positions by buying the metal they borrowed, at a 40% discount off the peak. Billions of dollars have been made on this year-long 200 million ounce pump-and-dump game.

Sorry for those small buyers that got dragged into this and are now stuck. This has been an excellent seller's market, but treacherous for buyers.

Time to get back to coin collecting.
