In 1979 1980 KAboom and down it went . This could end exactly like that period did! Umm . it won't be pretty . The smartest people have already unloaded and Invested elsewhere . There are zero rational arguments to holding Large amounts of something that pays zero interest and cost lots to store . Also another consideration non preferential TAX treatment on any capital gain.

Quote: enjoying the ride yep. Quote: keep on, keeping on yep. Quote: That works for me yep. it'd suit me fine if Ag remains below $50 for about another month. i'd buy this dip, but I'm not ready to buy anything.

Lol you have been in these threads raining all over the parade for those of us that stack silver. If you really think 1979-1980 is similar to today's uptick, then you clearly aren't aware of what's going on in the world. Your continued posts like this one are curious to say the least.

Billions of ounces of paper silver being used for this false smack down. It won't save them, LBMA and COMEX are doomed. This might be our last buying opportunity for cheap silver.

Quote: Large amounts of something that pays zero interest What good is interest on anything when inflation rates are much higher? Every month your buying power is less.

Good points IGE. Either he's doing the reverse psychology thing or truly doesn't understand the fundamentals of what's behind this recent runup. The comparison to the Hunt Brothers runup was quite hilarious I have to admit.

Quote: 1979 1980 this isn't 1979 1980, nor is the situation like 1979 1980. the KAboom will be to the upside despite banker junk being dumped in large quantities. this pullback/correction has been anticipated and is right on schedule. my only real interest is swapping as many fiat dollars for as much Ag Au as possible before the dollar KAboom. it comes with a big slice of peace of mind, turning fake money into real money. did anyone else hear j. dimon's 'cockroach' quote this past week? I must have heard it parroted half a dozen times. which cockroaches was he talking about? banks or bankers? I guess he would be the cockroach authority, so no real surprise there. stack on, friends.

Quote: stack on, friends. Talking about stacking: wonder how many that bought gold at $4300, believing it would keep going right past $5000, are getting worried? Gold now under $4090.

if I had the cash for it I would be confidently buying up as much gold as I could. same with silver. $4,400 or $4,090, it doesn't matter. this pullback, whether it's a legitimate sell-off or paper slam, will probably be short-lived. this is just a dip before the next rip higher. $5K by xmas.

All right, so I guess the question now is whether silver is ready to hit $50 again...
