Silver is still comfortably above $50.

And rising once again (for now, at least). Almost back up to $53, in fact.

India refiners completely out of silver. Customers becoming angry.

Ouch! Silver back below $50 in overnight trading. Has the bubble finally burst, or just a minor adjustment? Only time will tell...

Of course, even if this is a minor correction and you are convinced that now is the time to buy before prices start to go back up, good luck finding anybody willing to sell you silver at its current value of $49. Places like APMEX are still selling everything at $54-55/oz.

Yep, it's exactly what I found back when silver prices eventually started dropping after the 2011-2012 run up. Suddenly, it was considered "normal" to have a premium of $6-8 per ounce, and it took a looooong time for that to go away.

Dealers are quite nervous about PM volatility, which is completely understandable. They don't have huge margins and if someone sells a big pile it needs to go out the door ASAP.

Absolutely....if it's not being bought at the retail level, most will probably unload to wholesalers or refiners as quickly as possible.
