GSR down to 72:1. Another spike up for silver. "Hi Ho Silver, Away"!! As the Lone Ranger use to say, for those old enough to know what that is.

Taking a breath for a few days is good. This is going to be a very bad month for the banksters with all the contracts due for settlement before Dec 23.

I am starting to like gold. Actually, I don't think it is one or the other, I think both will do well. Last time I checked, Congress has not done anything, so the debt continues to climb. Gold will be going to $5K soon.
I don't think the gold / silver ratio is a valid metric in 2025. At least not like it was in 1878.

There are very few silver only mines now, most of the silver comes from copper, zinc, lead mines as a by product. The current GSR coming out of the ground according to First Majestic Mining is 7:1. There has been a deficit of supply over consumption for the last 5 years. Paper derivatives have been used to hide this fact by keeping silver prices artificially low. We are now starting to see the results. |
