The ring on the obverse is just damage from a rolling machine but the reverse shows a very nice lam that part of has fallen off.

Yes, very cool lamination issue! And, looks like the obverse suffered some mechanical Wrapping Machine Damage

Be thankful the Ring of Death occurred on the obverse and the lam (very nice one) is on the reverse....Just do us a favor and never look at the obverse again..
