Beautiful contributions! Both yesterday's 1966 and today's 1965 are holes in my collection. As we progress further, there will be a lot more gaps for me. But I'll be back in action for 1964 tomorrow!

Because my time zone is a bit different from yours, I always wait until someone mentions the year before I upload anything & here is my contribution for 1965 East Caribbean States P# 14h - 5 Dollars - ND (1965) (PMG 67 EPQ)I hope this counts, since PMG mentions it.

Beautiful Caribbean note, SchwarzerEinser, and to the Forum! From me today, a 1965 Spanish 100 Pesetas: This note has a portrait of Spanish poet Gustavo Adolfo Becquer, based on an oil painting made in 1862 by his brother Valeriano Domínguez Becquer. On the reverse is an Andalusian woman reading a book, with Seville Cathedral in the background.

I'm excited to be ready to post again tomorrow for 1964. Maybe someone can explain why I see to have several notes from that specific year. Is it just random chance for my collection or did a whole lot of countries print extra banknotes that year?

Spence - are some of your 1964 banknotes from Indonesia? As a teenager I once bought a pack of 15 World Banknotes for £1, and four of them were Indonesian notes dated 1964. I might post one later but I'll need to scan it... Starting off 1964 with a Belgian 20 Francs depicting a young King Baudouin. The reverse shows the Atomium in Brussels, a giant reproduction of an iron molecule erected in 1958 for the World Fair. As with all Belgian notes of the period, the value and country name are in French on one side and Flemish on the other. These notes were in circulation until 1980 when they were replaced by coins:

to the CCF, SchwarzerEinser - your notes are absolutely gorgeous! Interesting note, NumisRob! Quote: are some of your 1964 banknotes from Indonesia? These notes were essentially worthless when issued in 1965 and are commonly encountered wherever cheap international notes are sold. This is one that my parents somehow acquired back around then, as I remember it being in a box of junk international coins and a few notes since I was a kid then. Indonesia 10 Sen 1964

Ah well one third of the mystery is solved then as yes one of my 1964-dated banknotes is from Indonesia. Here is a 1 Sen--its only a little bigger than a business card.

Here is a well-circulated twin for @numi's Belgian 20 Franc note:
