Noticed on a 2026 Nickel that the 6 is larger, any reason why ?

Probably same reason the 5 is "larger".

Artists privilege, just the way it was designed. See that in many coins.

The numerals 5, 6 and 9 on Canadian 5 cent coins have been larger than other numerals for quite some time now. They have "always" been larger, but it is much more pronounced in recent decades compared to earlier 20th century issues.

If you look at 5 cent coins from 2016, the number "6" is larger than the other digits, but perhaps looks more normal as they shifted the baseline of the date-numerals to accommodate the taller "6".

Going back to coins from 1996, the nines are noticeably bigger than the 1, and the 6 slightly bigger.

My first thought..

Although, the 6 is usually not depicted that way, but in the other direction like the 1996 and 2016 examples Sap gave.
